I am an author, innovator, and small group leader who spent my time in the business world until I made a discovery that led me to change my future path.

One day while standing in the middle of a street in a city devastated by a Hurricane, I felt God speaking to me, "Your Priorities are Wrong." I knew it was true and made an about-face to be intentional about building relationships and helping others. I wasn't sure how I would help, but I understood my job, and small groups would provide outlets for sharing knowledge. My husband and I have been in ministry for years while working, leading small groups, and helping others transform their lives. Sharing experiences and mentoring others to live successful spiritual lives became my passion.

I always felt a pull to women who suddenly found themselves back in the workforce, lacked confidence, or just needed someone to hear them. I didn't realize the impact of what I was learning until I could piece it all together while leading small groups at our church.  

Becoming an author surprised me as I shifted my priorities from a fast-paced life to intentionally building relationships with others. In the process of self-discovery, I wrote Crushing Insecurity - Pushing Boundaries and Pursuing Dreams which became available in April, 2023. Earlier this week I learned that Crushing Insecurity will be published and distributed in multiple countries across the globe! This is an exciting time and I am reminded that I must be willing to expand my vision.

While writing the book, I discovered my current mission statement:

“To encourage women to reclaim hope and confidence and discover the true source of their courage and self-worth.”
